Are you ready to witness an outstanding boogie-woogie dance performed by a duo brimming with passion and enthusiasm? What if we also claimed that this old couple is still a force on the dance floor? At the Horn Dance Academy in Austria, retired Germans Dietmar and Nellie gave a performance.

The audience took out their phones to film the wonderful dance that the two performed for the audience. When you see it with your own eyes, you will understand why it has quickly spread on the net across the world!

The Horn family opened their dance school in Linz, Austria, in the early 1900s. Since then, they have become one of the most popular dance schools in all of Austria and Europe. They teach samba, cha cha cha, foxtrot, Viennese waltz, boogie, and rumba.

Dietmar and Nellie are married; they married in 1970. Since then, they have been dancing professionally together for over 30 years. They participated in many dance competitions, both German and Austrian.

Their extraordinary dancing skills and unique style have won them numerous awards. They are particularly good at jitterbug and lindy hop, dances from the 1940s and 1950s.

In the video, which has gone viral online, the dancers boogie-woogie their hips to Johan Blohm & The Refreshments.

A song called “Down the Road Apiece” became a hit in the country. Shortly after the song was released, “Johan Blom” became a household name.

It was at the Horn Dance School. The couple danced to the popular song as others gathered to watch the jaw-dropping spectacle. There were only young people around, which added a particular charm to the old-school dance! The couple danced like they were 18; no one believed their eyes at how energetic and agile they were on the dance floor!

They are now back in Germany, in their hometown of Dürmersheim. They always hold master classes and dance to their favorite songs. Are you ready to see the dance that shook the world? Watch the video below:
